I’ve always struggled with my weight. I’ve tried every diet under the sun, but nothing has ever worked for me long-term. In 2023, I decided to try the carnivore diet. I was skeptical at first, but I was willing to try anything.

The carnivore diet is a high-fat, moderate-protein, no-carb diet. It’s based on the idea that humans are meant to eat the same foods that our ancestors ate. This means that the only foods allowed on the diet are meat, fish, eggs, and animal products.

I started the carnivore diet in January 2023, and I lost 55 pounds in the first few months. I felt amazing, and I was finally able to control my AFib and type 2 diabetes. I was able to carry a 55-pound weighted ruck easier and easier every day and not feel sick, tired, fatigued. I felt like I was finally not at death’s door anymore.

However, I started to cheat on the diet. I would eat ice cream, french fries, fried chicken, and other unhealthy foods. I eventually fell off the wagon completely, and I gained back all of the weight I had lost.

I felt terrible. I was back to feeling sick, tired, and fatigued. My AFib and type 2 diabetes were out of control again. I knew that I had to do something, so I decided to get back on the carnivore diet.

I’m now back on the carnivore diet for two weeks, and I’m already feeling the benefits. I’ve lost 5 pounds, and I’m feeling more energetic. I’m determined to stick with the diet this time, and I know that it’s the best diet for me.

What is the carnivore diet?

The carnivore diet is a very restrictive diet that only allows meat, fish, eggs, and animal products. It’s based on the idea that humans are meant to eat the same foods that our ancestors ate.

There are two main types of carnivore diets: the strict carnivore diet and the dirty carnivore diet. The strict carnivore diet only allows for meat, fish, eggs, and animal products that are cooked or raw. The dirty carnivore diet allows for processed meats, dairy products, and other foods that are not typically considered to be part of the carnivore diet.

What are the benefits of the carnivore diet?

The carnivore diet has been shown to have a number of benefits, including:

  • Weight loss
  • Improved energy levels
  • Increased strength
  • Reduced inflammation
  • Improved gut health
  • Clearer skin
  • Improved mental clarity
  • Reduced risk of chronic diseases

What are the challenges of the carnivore diet?

The carnivore diet can be challenging for a number of reasons, including:

  • It’s restrictive.
  • It can be expensive.
  • It can be difficult to find social support.

What is OMAD?

OMAD stands for One Meal a Day. It’s a fasting protocol that involves eating all of your calories for the day in one meal.

OMAD can be done on any diet, including the carnivore diet. However, it’s especially popular with people who follow the carnivore diet because it can help to make the diet more sustainable.

What is keto?

Keto stands for ketogenic diet. It’s a high-fat, low-carb diet that forces your body to burn fat for energy.

Keto can be done on any diet, including the carnivore diet. However, it’s especially popular with people who follow the carnivore diet because it can help to speed up weight loss and improve mental clarity.

What is a dirty carnivore diet?

A dirty carnivore diet is a variation of the carnivore diet that allows for processed meats, dairy products, and other foods that are not typically considered to be part of the carnivore diet.

Dirty carnivore diets are often criticized by proponents of the strict carnivore diet. However, dirty carnivore diets can be a good option for people who find the strict carnivore diet too restrictive or who are looking for a more sustainable way to follow the diet.

Conclusion

The carnivore diet is a powerful tool for weight loss and health improvement. However, it’s important to do your research and talk to your doctor before starting the diet. If you’re willing to commit to the diet and make it work for you.
